About me

A short story about me……

I am not a BIG blogger – I actually find it quite difficult to write as English is my second language. But when I do write, it is mostly about me – the Danish artist who loves anything French and lives in the Australian bush.

I grew up spending most of my holidays in the lovely town of Menton on the Mediterranean coast in France. In my thirties I migrated to Australia – a move that made it possible to pursue a lifelong dream of living a creative life in tranquiller surroundings.

Initially I wanted to write but my English in those days was not nearly good enough, so I began to experiment with clay, always being fascinated by the way the clay can transform into a bowl on a fast spinning wheel. Not being a natural on the wheel I went back to painting – which I always have be doing – this time taking it seriously.

Now – years later I can happily say that I am living life creatively – even if the dream always was set in France and not in the Australian Bush.

But that’s another story !
